The Governors of Tanfield Lea Community Primary School are seeking to appoint a committed, hardworking, well organised person with excellent interpersonal skills to the position of Breakfast Club Assistant.

We are a busy, lively, growing school dedicated to developing each and every child. We offer a wide range of opportunities for children both in and out of school with the intention of giving them a diverse, memorable and positive school experience. We create and foster an atmosphere which is conducive to the progress of all – children and staff. We aim for our children to leave us as confident, happy, well behaved young people prepared for the next stage of their learning.

If this is the kind of school community you would like to be part of and contribute to, then we’d welcome an application from you.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of our strong committed team.

The prospective candidate will be a capable individual with responsibility for caring for children and maintaining a high-quality, stimulating learning environment. Assistants are warm and responsive, working flexibly and effectively as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the club.

For an informal discussion about the post please contact Miss Kay Hemmings (Head Teacher) on 01207 234500; sadly visits to the school prior to interview are not possible at this time.

In the first instance, application packs should be downloaded from the County Council Jobs web page; alternatively they can be obtained by emailing our School Business Manager Katrina Cooke cookek@tanfieldleaprimary.co.uk
