The Governors of Gosforth Park First School wish to appoint a Support Assistant Level 2 (N3) for September 2021.
This post is initially a one year fixed term contract from 6 September 2021 until 22 July 2022, term time only (plus 3 training days).

This post is suitable for either experienced or newly qualified Support Assistants.

Candidates must have the following:

Knowledge of or be willing to undertake training in:
The principles of child development and learning processes.
The national/foundation stage curriculum
Teaching of systematic, synthetic phonics.

Qualifications:
Good numeracy/literacy skills with GCSE or equivalent qualifications at Level2.

Experience:
Working with First School aged children.

There is an opportunity to visit our school during the week beginning 14th June. Please phone the school office to make an appointment.
The application process will involve an observation and an interview. Tasks and interviews will be held during the week beginning 5 and 12 July.
