A vacancy has arisen within Electoral Services for an Electoral Officer. This post is temporary to cover a period of maternity leave until approximately 22nd December 2022 or until the return of the substantive post holder from maternity leave, whichever is sooner.

This post is Part Time working 22 hours per week.

The post holder will be part of a very busy team who deal with the maintenance and publication of the Register of Electors and the administering of elections.

The successful candidate's main duties are the daily maintenance of the Register of Electors and it’s monthly distribution, implementing Individual Registration, Absent Voting and assisting in the organisation of all elections.

Candidates should have NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject and experience of Electoral Registration.

It is anticipated that interviews will be held week commencing 31st January 2022.
