Children and Young People’s Services in County Durham continues to grow, and we know that growth presents us with fantastic opportunities to expand our teams and bring on board new skills and new ideas.

We are looking to add Social Work Assistants to our teams so we’re seeking motivated, enthusiastic professionals who want to make a difference.

The role
The role of our Social Work Assistant is key, they provide critical support to our social work teams ensuring the services delivered to children, young people and their families are outstanding.

You will be responsible for the development and implementation of a range of care plans and the ongoing monitoring and review of those care plans so the ability to organise and manage your workload effectively is key.

Ideally you will take a flexible approach to your work to enable effective, and timely delivery of services ensuring the needs of colleagues, partners and stakeholders and being met.
