An exciting opportunity has arisen for a NETPark Manager who will actively manage and be responsible for the day-to-day operation of NETPark, the Region’s premier science park.

NETPark is a premier UK science park in Sedgefield, County Durham, currently home to over 40 companies employing over 600 people. We provide the right mix of infrastructure, collaborative opportunities and support for science, engineering and technology companies. We support innovative businesses at every stage of their journey from concept to commercialisation with a wide choice of world-class laboratory, clean room and office space.

We are the only UK Science Park with two National Catapult Centres – The High Value Manufacturing Catapult, managed by CPI and North East Centre of Excellence for Satellite Applications managed by Business Durham.

With Phases 1 and 2 fully occupied, NETPark is expanding again to provide both grow-on space for existing tenants and new opportunities for inward investors keen to relocate their businesses to this nationally important science and technology park.

What’s involved?
You will actively manage and be responsible for the day-to-day operation and security of NETPark. This will involve responding to enquiries; providing appropriate support, advice and guidance to NETPark businesses; ensuring the effective operation of the NETPark buildings; and assisting in the future development of NETPark. Please review the attached job description for further information regarding the role.

What you will need
You should hold a Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, e.g Business and Finance and/or be able to able to demonstrate extensive relevant experience. Substantial experience of developing business and managing relationships is essential. Please review the attached person specification for further information.
