Sunderland City Council are seeking to recruit a Business Manager to work with and support teams across the Adult Social Care service area.  

The posts will be of interest to applicants who are skilled and experienced in working within a Business Development role in the following areas:
Performance and quality assurance
Workforce development strategy and associated delivery plans
Development and maintenance of excellent practice
Development, implementation of associated policies and processes

Leading on quality assurance frameworks information that will inform and provide assurance to Senior Managers and Elected Members on the quality of provision and service delivery across Adult Social Care as directed by the Head of Business. 

The successful applicant will have a wide range of transferable experience within an appropriate background as well as excellent ICT skills, good written and verbal communications skills and the ability to work in a fast based multi-disciplinary area of work. 

Excellent organisational, prioritization and negotiation skills will be required to balance a varied and wide-ranging workload with competing priorities.

Applicants should hold a degree or equivalent experience.
