The Governing Body of this rapidly improving school are seeking to appoint an experienced and motivated teacher to lead Special Needs throughout our school.
The successful candidate will have:
• a good understanding of inclusion;
• a commitment to closing the achievement gap for pupils with SEN;
• experience of implementing change at whole school level through leadership of an improvement project or subject co-ordination;
• the National Award for SEN Coordination, or a willingness to obtain this qualification;
• experience of working with external agencies;
• excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The Governing Body and the Diocese are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and vulnerable adults. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced disclosure through the Disclosure and Barring Service and additional recruitment checks
Essential Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status
