An enthusiastic and experienced teaching assistant is required for the start of the new term in January to support our Early Years pupils with their educational, social and emotional wellbeing.
As well as supporting class teachers, the successful applicants will also be required to work with small groups, to support literacy and numeracy, to help manage pupil behaviour, to support the development and effectiveness of work teams, to help pupils to access the curriculum, to work with other professionals and to liaise effectively with parents.
Essential Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Childcare in Education (formerly known as NNEB Diploma in Nursery Nursing) OR NVQ level 4, Childcare in Education, City and Guilds Advanced Certificate in Learning Support
AND A good basic education, including English and Maths to GCSE level.
