Grade 3 – 37 hour - Work Experience Admin Assistant

CAS/14/167 - post is temporary until 31/07/15.

The successful postholder will arrange work experience placements for students in County Durham and Darlington schools. They will place students on work experience by liaising with local employers and placement providers and schools. A range of general administrative functions to support the Education Business Partnership team is also part of this role.

Applicants should be prepared to make and receive a significant volume of telephone calls to employers and schools to arrange placements. Accurate recording of manual and electronic systems is an integral part of the role.

Essential Qualifications:
NVQ Level 2 Business Administration or
4 GCSE’s (grades A-C) including English Language or English Literature

This post is restricted to employees of Durham County Council which includes all permanent temporary, fixed term employees and agency workers from day one of commencing with the Council.
