The Governors and Headteacher of Roseberry Primary & Nursery School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and hard-working caretaker, who demonstrates a positive can-do attitude.

We are a welcoming and supportive school dedicated to achieving the best for our pupils.
The successful candidate will:
• Be able to work as part of a team and foster positive relationships with staff, pupils, parents and governors.
• maintain and promote a positive image of the school to children, parents and visitors
• attend any training courses relevant to the post
• facilitate lettings and carry out associated tasks, in line with local agreements (additional payment for lettings)
• be prepared to make a valuable contribution to Roseberry and ‘go the extra mile’.

Please note that this position is whole time, which means that you will be in attendance at work all year round (52 weeks a year) and will have an annual leave entitlement (26 days if you have less than 5 years continuous local government service, 31 days if you have in excess of 5 years continuous local government service; pro rata for part time).

Where our roles are customer facing and you are required to speak to members of the public, the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
