Vane Road Primary School provide Out of Hours Childcare for the children who attend our school. We require a highly motivated, creative and engaging member of staff to assist in the running of this Childcare. Initially, we will offer 20 hours per week with the possibility of extra casual hours to cover staff absence, holidays, maternity leave etc. (not the Christmas holidays).

The contracted hours will be made up 7:30am to 6:00pm on a rota but additional casual hours may be available during after school and holiday club. This will depend on the number of children taking up places. Applicants should possess NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and experience of out of hours Childcare would be an advantage.

The School Governors are also looking to appoint a highly motivated Lunchtime Play leader and would encourage suitably qualified applicants to apply for both positions.

Where our roles are customer facing and you are required to speak to members of the public, the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
