Governors, of this highly successful primary school, are seeking to appoint an outstanding, dynamic and experienced school leader to join our effective and dedicated team as deputy head teacher.

Bullion Lane Primary School is at the heart of the local community and the school prides itself on its friendly, nurturing and supportive atmosphere where children and staff are encouraged to achieve highly and to reach their full potential.

The school is proud of its good Ofsted outcome (2018). To help us to continue on this positive journey, we are seeking to appoint a committed and dedicated leader who is highly motivated with excellent interpersonal skills.

Key responsibilities of the post will be:
• SENCO (must have SENCO award or be willing to achieve it, if appointed)
• Designated teacher for Looked After Children, Safeguarding and Child Protection.
• Behaviour and pastoral care
• To lead on PSHCE ensuring the new, locally agreed policy on Relationships, Sex and Health Education is fulfilled and shared with staff
• Manage ICT infrastructure within the school.
• Manage and monitor the school website
