From the Summer term 2022, Catchgate Primary School is seeking to appoint a dynamic and competent individual to fill the role of Premises Manager.

The Premises Manager is responsible for the internal and external infrastructure of school, managing our grounds and buildings and overall facilities management.

Key Duties include:

• Key holding responsibility.
• Overseeing site security.
• Managing a small team of cleaning staff.
• Swimming pool maintenance.
• Stock management, ordering, accepting deliveries.
• Maintaining a high level of cleanliness across the site.
• Completion of weekly, monthly and annual building and grounds checks and inspections.
• Managing COSHH.
• Completion and review of site related risk assessments.
• Carrying out maintenance and fires systems checks.
• Maintaining official fire safety documents and maintenance.
• Grounds and perimeter upkeep.
• Winter gritting and path clearing.
• Porterage duties.
• Undertake minor repairs.
• Working at height.
• Manual handling.
• Maintain heating and cooling systems.
• Reporting defects and faults.
• Facilitate lettings and carry out associated tasks, including polling stations.
• Defect reporting on the PHD portal.
• Liaising with DCC Contractors / site visitors.
• Assist with the development of the Premises Plan working with Senior Leaders and Governors.

Working hours are 7:30am – 4pm
