Service Improvement Support Assistant

1 x 37hrs Temporary for 2 years

VACANCY NO: AHS/22/542 EXT

To support the proposed programme of work coming to Adult and Health Services with the introduction of a new inspection regime; an investment for additional resources has been made into the AHS Development and Learning Team.

The successful candidates will be focussing on a range of quality and governance tasks as well as dedicated time in helping the service prepare for all aspects of inspection preparation.

The Service Improvement Support Assistant - Grade 7 will be part of the team response to the inspection planning and implementation and will be critical in supporting the range of tasks required to meet the services needs in this key area of work.

Further details include
• To support the preparations and planning for inspections across AHS as required. This will include:
o maintenance of support to the Quality Assurance Board/Quality, Innovation, Leadership and Transformation groups
o monitoring of information from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for issues that may impact on the service
o contribute to any marketing and communications campaigns to the range of stakeholders
• To provide data and management information for reports on quality and service improvement to management teams as directed by the Development and Learning Manager/Service Improvement/Inspection Project Officer.

• To undertake any research and analytical work relating to the functions of the team to ensure service improvement.

• To assist in the work related to the management of AHS key policies and procedures.

• To undertake word and data processing and complex ICT tasks.

• To support any necessary data returns as required.

• To support the monitoring of the improvement delivery plans for the service

Qualifications : NVQ Level 4 in a related topic or equivalent
