An opportunity has arisen for a Contract Management Assistant to work in the Integrated Passenger Transport Group.

You will provide assistance to the Contracts Management Team and the IPT Contracts & Monitoring Manager. You will provide a professional administration resource to the organisation and support the establishment, development and ongoing performance of a proactive, modern and strategic contract management function.

Applicants should hold a NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent in a relevant subject area together with having experience of dealing with members of the public.

Please use the ‘Person Specification’ section of your application form to demonstrate that you have the essential and where possible, desirable experience, skills, and knowledge. Candidates who do not evidence that they meet the essential qualifications and experience listed on the person specification will not be short-listed.

It is anticipated that interviews are scheduled to be held week commencing 17th April 2023.

Durham County Council currently operates a hybrid working policy where a model of 2 days in the workplace and 3 days at home/remote will apply. This model is pro-rated for part time roles and arrangements are at managers discretion, alternatively you can work all of your contracted hours within the workplace if you prefer.
