A NEW OPPORTUNITY FOR AN EXPERIENCED AND AMBITIOUS PROGRAMME SUPPORT OFFICER (Fixed term)
City Hall, Sunderland/ agile working
Grade 6 (£27,514-£30,095) pro rata

This is a newly created post, (currently up to March 2023) supporting a funded project via the Local Data Accelerator Fund. TfC are leading the project, which will work alongside colleagues from South Tyneside Council, North East Commissioning Support and Sunderland University.

In this project we are aiming to link up education, social care and health data to improve the outcomes for children and young people with SEND.

This data project will deliver new insights for commissioners to understand the services being delivered and used at a local level. While the university will undertake research into the experiences of children excluded from school with SEND.

This role will support the Programme Lead delivering this piece of work. You will need to have an eye for detail, be a good communicator and work well alongside a range of different colleagues at stakeholders.

You will also play a vital part in delivering key outcomes for children's commissioning as part of integrated Health, Education and Social Care Commissioning in Sunderland. You will work alongside a team responsible for delivering a number of commissioning projects, working on a matrix basis across areas including mental health, cared for children, SEND, neurodiversity and community health.

Ideally you’ll have experience of the project management approaches (such as PRINCE2) and have worked within a Children’s Services environment before. You’ll be comfortable using core Office applications and Teams.
