The service is looking to appoint an Assessment Support Worker based within the Commissioning Team.

You will liaise with external commissioned providers to secure care packages to be delivered to service users on behalf of the Council following their assessment of care needs. You will also analyse financial remittances to ensure the appropriate level of assessed care is charged to service users and accurate payments are made to providers.

You must have knowledge of:
IT systems including Excel and Word
Information management
Business administration skills and experience
Financial systems and monitoring
The needs of adults and children who require social care services.

You will have experience of: working to deadlines and managing competing priorities; presenting reports to senior managers; working in a social care environment; working with large spreadsheets and formulas.

You must have 5 GCSE's at Grade C or equivalent.
