We are looking for an experienced and dynamic person to take a senior role in the delivery of future capital investment and development in the City. You will play a crucial part in delivering the Council’s capital programme through developing, procuring, implementing and delivering major capital projects which will deliver the Council’s aims and objectives and support the ongoing regeneration of the City. You will work extensively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including private sector and public sector partners, with whom you must be able to develop excellent working relationships.
You will have extensive experience of taking responsibility for and being involved in the process of delivering complex multi-disciplinary programmes and projects, with a proven personal track record in successfully securing funding, delivering outputs as planned and securing real outcomes for people. You must also be able to develop and drive strategies, plan for and manage change effectively and lead the delivery of excellent services. You should possess excellent commercial skills and be able to demonstrate a high degree of written and verbal communication ability.
Reporting directly to the Director of Investment and Development you will play a key role in the management team of the Investment and Development Directorate.
