Your duties will include preparing, cooking and presenting food to the highest standards, as and when requested by customers or as directed by your Catering Supervisor. You must also adhere to food hygiene laws and regulations. Receive deliveries in accordance with correct procedure and forward delivery notes to your Catering Supervisor. Correctly store goods and report any discrepancies to your Catering Supervisor. Ensure fridge, freezer and food temperatures are taken and logged appropriately. Assist with the cleaning and organisation within all catering areas. Use cleaning materials and equipment in accordance with COSHH regulations and the use of PPE. Adhere strictly to licensing regulations, making sure no underage person consumes or purchases alcohol. Refuse service when necessary and report any concerns immediately. Report any defects or environmental health concerns to your Catering Supervisor immediately. Undertake any other reasonable duties to meet the requirements of the ‘job purpose’. Work at any Active Northumberland Centre if required.
