The Children's Commissioning Team is responsible for carrying out effective contracting functions within children's social care and education, including the implementation of commissioning strategies, contract monitoring and service reviews.
This is a fantastic opportunity to undertake contracting activity in accordance with Hartlepool Borough Council's procurement regulations and statutory regulations, work in partnership with Social Workers, Independent Fostering Agencies, Residential Children's Homes and Education providers to source appropriate services for children and young people, along with reporting on quality of provision and outcomes achieved.
The successful applicant will have experience of evaluating services for children, young people and families, an understanding of outcome focussed service provision and the ability to analyse information to inform future commissioning processes.
The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced disclosure & barring check via the Disclosure & Barring Service (previously known as a CRB check)
