Cullercoats Primary School is a popular two form entry school situated close to the coastline, metro and local services within the community. The school has a particular strength in Physical Education and outdoor learning. The school was last inspected in 2017 and graded Good by Ofsted.
For June 2018, we are particularly keen to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated practitioner who has an interest in and excellent knowledge of KS2 to help further develop the provision we currently offer in our school.
We are looking for someone who:
- understands the importance of ongoing assessment to determine children’s next steps in learning;
- is a good/outstanding teacher who demonstrates the highest possible standards of pupil achievement, personal development and well-being for all our pupils;
- is a model of good / outstanding practice for teaching and learning;
- has made a significant contribution to the learning and progress of pupils in their care;
- will work creatively and effectively with the Senior Leadership team to drive school improvement;
- is approachable with excellent communication skills.

Short listing will take place on Thursday 26th April 2018. Successful candidates will be informed by Friday 27th April 2018. Dates for the lesson observation and the interview are still to be arranged.
Those shortlisted will be asked to do a deliver a lesson in KS2 before interview.
