Salary: Group 1, LPR 8 to 12
Due to the retirement of our Headteacher, the Governing Body of this newly formed Primary School seek to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Headteacher to lead and be part of a committed staff team. Warkworth Church of England Aided Primary School is a small rural church school situated in the heart of Northumberland.
You will embrace the opportunity and challenge of leading our school forward in its next stage of development and share our drive to provide outstanding teaching and learning for all our pupils.
You will:
- Be passionate about making a difference to the lives of children and families in our school
- Have excellent leadership skills and experience along with an ability to inspire and a belief in working as part of a team
- Be ambitious for all our children – have high expectations in teaching, learning behaviour and attitudes
- Understand the significance of a curriculum which provides opportunities and experiences that enable all children to succeed
- Have an outward looking approach – know how to negotiate the changing educational landscape and keep us at the cutting edge
