West Jesmond is a large, very successful and happy school, in the heart of a vibrant and diverse community. The leadership team and governing body are looking to appoint the very best staff to join our team who will make a real positive contribution to the education of our fantastic children.

The school is seeking to appoint a P.E. and Sports mentor to enhance our P.E. and sports offer to pupils.

The role will involve working across the school with classes, groups or individuals, to deliver P.E. alongside class teachers; mentoring teams, groups or individuals to encourage their sporting development; promoting sporting events; running after school groups and accompanying teams to sporting competitions.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful applicants will be required to obtain an Enhanced Certificate of Disclosure from the DBS and be successful against a range of other recruitment checks.
