Part Time 22.5 hours - Term time only

The Governors wish to appoint a part time Parent Support Adviser to work three days per week term time.

Duties will include working in partnership with children and families to overcome barriers to learning, to tackle underachievement and to ensure that attendance at school is regular.

The successful candidate will work with families in a non-judgemental way to empower them and their families to get the most out of the educational opportunities available.

It is envisaged that the post will be temporary for two terms and may be extended following a review.

Essential Qualifications:
• Level 3 or above in a related discipline; health, education, youth work, social care and health or equivalent.
• 5 GCSEs grade C or above including English
