PREMISES ASSISTANT
Grade 2 (£15,613 - £16,491)
37 hours per week
The Governors wish to appoint a hardworking and enthusiastic Premises Assistant to be part of a caretaking team responsible for repairs and maintenance, security, cleaning, waste disposal, deliveries and portage. Although not essential the ability to offer a trade could be advantageous. The appointed person will need to work alternate weekly hours and the working hours will be as follows:-
Week 1: 6.00am to 2.00pm, Monday to Thursday; 6.00am to 1.30pm Friday
Week 2: 11.00am to 7.00pm, Monday to Thursday; 11.30am – 7.00pm Friday
Please note that the above times include breaks totalling 30 minutes.

This position is whole time i.e.- employees who must work all year around (52 weeks per year), including during school closure periods. These employees will have a leave entitlement of 26 or 31 days (pro rata for part time) which must be taken when the schools are closed. The holiday entitlement runs from April to March, under Green Book terms i.e. not academic year).
