37 hours per week - Term Time Only Plus 5 days
To start at the earliest opportunity
The Head of School and governors of this popular school wish to appoint a Librarian to manage the day to day running of the school Library. You must be educated to NVQ level 3 or equivalent and have relevant experience in a Library setting. You should have experience of working with young people and be able to demonstrate the ability to support teaching and learning across all year groups.
Key roles and responsibilities involve:
• Day to day management of the library, including management of stock
• Delivery of reading interventions
• Supervision of students using the library
• Planning and organising school events to promote literacy
• Promote a love of reading for pleasure and culture of reading

Huntcliff Secondary School will be joining Vision Academy Learning Trust (VALT) as a sponsored Academy with a proposed transfer date of 1st January 2021.
