The council requires an enthusiastic individual who has demonstrable knowledge and expertise in the relevant field of Sustainable and Active Travel. With the skills and ability to: -
• To develop and provide a Travel Plan Service to businesses, residential developments and schools.
• Provide sustainable, active travel, accessibility and smarter working advice and guidance to the Council, Partners, Businesses and Stakeholders.
• Manage sustainable travel projects, develop business cases and specific areas of work to support the Council’s Climate Change Emergency declaration.
• Implement and supervise/manage a Sustainable Business Travel Hub and low emission “Pool Car” vehicle scheme.
This post is exempt from the rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to a DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
