Due to our recent move to a brand new state of the art building and the growth of the school to two form entry, the Governors of Ravensworth Terrace Primary School seek to appoint three highly motivated, extremely hard working teachers to join our successful, friendly team.

We are looking to appoint excellent practitioners with a proven track record of raising standards to join our outstanding school.

Everyone at Ravensworth Terrace is supportive, committed and hardworking. We are a school that expects extremely high standards from all staff and children with a philosophy of teamwork, as our motto states 'Together We Are Winners'.

The successful candidate should:
Have experience working within the primary age range, possibly teaching in Year 1, 2 or 3.
Deliver creative, exciting and dynamic lessons.
Be passionate about teaching children and inspiring them in their learning.
Have a strong, positive presence in the classroom.
Use Assessment for Learning strategies and responsive teaching to ensure all children make progress.
Be a reflective practitioner who continually looks at ways to improve their practice.
Be committed to sharing best practice with colleagues and learning from others.
Have great organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Be able to motivate and encourage all children to thrive as learners.

In return we can offer:
A warm and welcoming community.
The support of an enthusiastic, ambitious and dedicated team of staff and Governors.
The privilege to work with well-behaved and enthusiastic children who are eager to learn.
Excellent opportunities for continued professional development.

Although these positions do not initially come with Teaching and Learning Responsibilities, we have a reputation for successfully developing the leadership skills of all members of staff. As we continue to grow there will be further leadership opportunities available to staff. This would therefore be an exciting opportunity for experienced teachers who wished to broaden their experience and develop their leadership skills further.

If you have the ability to inspire and challenge our children to achieve their full potential, we would welcome your application.
