Thornaby Academy is seeking to appoint a HLTA, with experience of working with SEND students, to work as part of our team at Thornaby Academy. The role is to provide interventions for students who require additional support in their learning across the curriculum. Under the guidance of the SENCO, the role will provide learning and welfare support for those with special or additional needs in a whole-class and small group settings.

The staff at the Academy work closely as a team to support and guide our young people as they experience a diverse and challenging curriculum which will provide them with every opportunity to achieve their personal best.
