Inclusion Support Practitioner NJC Grade F SCP 7-8, 32.5 hours, Term Time plus 5 days, permanent, £20165.14 – £20953.53
 
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Inclusion Support Practitioner to join our well-established Inclusion Team working in Key Stage 2. The successful candidate will support pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, using a Thrive approach and trauma-informed practice. You will deliver targeted interventions, support emotional regulation, and work closely with families and external professionals.
 
Key responsibilities
  • Support pupils with SEMH needs in accessing the curriculum
  • Understand and respond to children’s individual needs
  • Promote communication, engagement, and independence under teacher guidance
  • Regulate behaviour positively using agreed strategies
  • Work closely with teaching staff, SENCO, and external professionals 

We are looking for someone who:
  • Is passionate about inclusion and supporting vulnerable pupils
  • Has experience (or a strong interest) in SEMH and emotional regulation
  • Can build strong, positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
  • Is committed to ongoing training and professional development
  • Can work effectively as part of a team and independently
