The Directors and Governors are seeking to appoint a patient and caring person to provide one-to-one support for a young pupil in our school. Our pupil requires specific support to help them access and manage different learning and social activities within a mainstream classroom environment. Teaching Assistants also contribute to the provision of our wraparound care facility - Busy Bees (which operates between the hours of 7.30am and 6.00pm).

The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to work in partnership with teachers and other professionals to provide effective support for learning and to contribute to pupil progress through delivery and evaluation of activities.

Character and personality are important aspects of working with children with Special Educational Needs. You need to be patient, encouraging, determined and resilient. If you feel that this could be you, then please complete the accompanying application form.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a primary school with children with a range of abilities and additional needs and will have undertaken additional training in aspects of SEN provision.

The successful applicant will be qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.

Shortlisting will be completed week commencing 2nd August 2021 and shortlisted candidates will be e-mailed to invite them for interview. The interviews will be held on Thursday 26th August 2021 at Rosa Street Primary School. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
