Cycle Instructor required to teach school children the necessary skills to the Bikeability National Standard levels for them to be competent and confident to use their bikes for all sorts of journeys. To ensure children are encouraged and inspired to achieve all three levels of Bikeability National Standard scheme, to encourage them to recognise that there is always more to learn and to enjoy on a bike, and to give parents the reassurance that their children have the necessary skills and confidence to cycle at each stage of their development and particularly to cycle safely to school.

We are therefore looking for someone who is a competent cyclist, has an interest in cycling, and who has a good rapport with children of all ages.  Previous experience is not required as full training will be given. 

This post is exempt from the rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to a DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
