NEAT Academy Trust is a thriving and collaborative partnership of six primary and secondary schools across North East England, working together to provide a first-class education for all our learners. Each school has its own distinctive ethos and the trust protects both our Church of England and non-Church schools to retain their particular designation. We are firmly rooted in the local communities that we serve, which enables us to develop and share effective strategies to enable our pupils to improve their life chances with the support of their families.
Five of our six schools are in the east of Newcastle upon Tyne:
- Benfield School (11-16)
- Central Walker Church of England Primary School (2-11)
- Tyneview Primary School (2-11)
- Walkergate Community School (2-11)
- West Walker Primary School (2-11)
Our sixth school is based in Hartlepool:
- St Hild’s Church of England School (11-16)
As a trust we also operate Newcastle Research School, one of only 30 schools across the country awarded research school status by the Education Endowment Foundation. Our role is to build and strengthen networks of schools and help them access effective education research and implement it in everyday classroom practice.
All of our primary schools are currently judged "Good" by Ofsted and we continue to strive for improved outcomes for all our pupils and prepare them for life after school.
Our vision is that we are one trust, working with partners to grow potential, and we believe that our shared values help us to achieve this. NEAT is a great place to be - for learners, for colleagues and a for governors/trustees - so we hope you enjoy finding out more about our trust and our shared purpose to Nurture, Educate, Achieve, Transform.
