The Governing Body at St. Helen’s Primary School are seeking to appoint an innovative, ambitious and inspirational Deputy Headteacher to work in partnership with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to bring around school improvement in a fully inclusive, ethos and culture.

St. Helen’s Primary School is a rapidly improving school under the direction of the newly appointed Headteacher and we feel this is an excellent time and opportunity to join St. Helen’s and be an integral part of securing the best possible outcomes for all.

We are looking for an outstanding leader with a proven track record of leading rigorous school self-evaluation with visible impact and a leader with the ability to motivate, inspire and coach staff to improve the educational outcomes of all pupils.

The role is predominately non-classed based with the expectation to influence whole school ‘Teaching and Learning’ and school improvement, which directly impacts on attainment, achievement and outcomes for all.

St. Helen’s Primary School has 334 pupils inclusive of a 26 place Nursery. We have above average FSM and deprivation. The vision for St. Helen’s Primary School is to ‘enable all pupils (no matter what background or starting point) to achieve their full potential and promote the school as a ‘beacon’ within the community, where aspirations are achieved and dreams are a reality for all pupils, staff and families’.
