We are looking to employ an enthusiastic family support worker to undertake a wide range of responsibilities regarding young people and their families, primarily exploring education, training and employment opportunities for 16- 20yrs and 25yrs with additional learning requirements.
You will require high quality written and verbal communication skills and must be able to demonstrate resilience and flexibility in a demanding environment. You will be expected to have high-quality observation and assessment skills and should have experience of direct work with young people and families. Within this environment you must be able to work purposefully under pressures and manage an individual caseload effectively in order to achieve statutory expectations.
The ability to prioritise and work both independently and as part of a team is essential to this role ,as well as building and maintaining professional relationships with partner agencies and service users.
