Sunderland City Council is seeking Casual Visitor Services Assistants to work across a number of cultural venues located in Washington and Sunderland.
The role of Visitor Services Assistant offers an exciting opportunity to work at Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens, Arts Centre Washington or other cultural venues in the city.
We are seeking individuals with excellent people skills to deliver a high standard of service ensuring a safe, welcoming, inclusive, and engaging experience for all visitors to our venues.
Candidates will be caring and passionate about working with the public and hold the confidence and enthusiasm to learn and share knowledge on Museum Collections and associated programmes. You will also be proactive in promoting the city's wider cultural, Tourist and retail offer.
Hours: Casual staff work on an as-required basis without guaranteed hours and are only paid for hours they work. Evening and weekend cover will be a regular requirement.
