We are seeking to appoint a Housing Assistant to work in the Strategic Asset Management Team to assist in the delivery of the Council’s housing management services. In the role, the post holder will be involved in the day-to-day management of properties owned by the Council and in the delivery of new build housing projects within the Place team.
The role will be fundamental in the delivery of high-quality housing management services in all property related housing matters. You will be expected to support the void, new property and repair processes of the Housing Management Service to ensure it remains cost effective, efficient and responsive to the needs of tenants. This will include managing utilities, conducting property and estate inspections, stock condition surveys and inventories, collating property records and communicating effectively with tenants and landlords.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual who will thrive in a busy and challenging environment where often no two days are the same.
